19/7/2020. Cask at The Duke of York, Ipswich. Pours very dark amber brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, toffee, subtle blackcurrant. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Steady, pretty decent mild. Also 20/7/2025. Cask at The Dove, Ipswich. Lots more blackcurrant present this time round. Drying. Slightly less appealing. 6.6 to 6.3.

Cask at the Jospeh Conrad, Lowestoft spoons, 28/01/24. Chestnut brown with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, biscuit, honeycomb, fruit esters. Taste comprises fruit slice, straw, grains, brown bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Okay mild.

Cask (gravity) @ #MBCF17, [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ], Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill St, Petersfield, Manchester, Great Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Wolf Black Wolf ].Medium to dark brown - red amber colour with a small to average, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, fudge, toffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, toffee, fudge, butterscotch, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20170120] 6-3-5-3-11
