A lager for the ale drinkers. This is a clean and crisp lager with a citrus kick. We finished it off by dry hopping it with Mosaic and El Dorado to give it a beautiful aroma of tropical fruits including watermelon.

Draught @ St. John at Hackney Brewery, Arch 17, 16 Bohemia Place, Hackney, Greater London, England E8 1DU. [ As St. John at Hackney Dry Hopped Lager ].ABV: 4.3%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, straw, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, flowers, dusty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty hops, flowers, fruity hops, pale malt, light bread, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Keg at the brewery. Pours totally clear gold, effervescent, with a tight, lasting, creamy white head. So so, quite basic, lots of grainy and biscuity malt character, low bitterness, a little dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with lots of crunchy, lightly sweet cereal. Drinkable.

Third, on tap at the brewery. Misty yellow-golden body, small white head, spotty lacing on the glass. Grassy hops on the nose, mid-dry. Mixed taste profile of grainy malts and herbal hops. Drying ending. Refreshing lager version. (Hackney, London 28.09.2018).

Fra fat på bryggerpuben. Varm gylden. Lavt tett skum som daler sakte. Nesten klar. Smaken tropisk frukt. Mango framtredende. Lett tørr etter hvert.
