0.33 l bottle from 'Wijnhuis Blerick', bottled in January 2017, cellared for one-and-a-half years. Clear, very dark ruby to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, raisins and some red berries. Quite sweet, malty, gently roasty and slightly fruity taste of dark chocolate, licorice, coffee, some nuts, quite some raisins and a touch of red berries, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy, fairly warming, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very intense beer, quite fruity for a Stout but also fairly roasty. Just a bit too sharp in the finish, other than that a very fine brew.

Amazingly soft and smooth. Fairly sweet, little bit of roasty. Milk chocolate, could almost be a milk stout even. It is, however, quite thin, could definitely do with more mouthfeel. Still a pleasure, fun bottle and idea behind it as well.
