Deep orange colour from our favourite caramelised malts will hold the weight of late hop additions. With rich and orangey base it is loaded with moderate 60ish IBU hops to keep initial sweetness in ballance. Centennial, Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Chinook and Columbus hops are mingling together into glassful of big citrusy, resiny and deligtful beer that will make the cold season rich, bright, warm and fun.

Pretty solid ipa. Sharp and strong no doubt. But well made and good hop selection. Mr hop adventkal

Can. Clear amber, larger offwhite head, lasting. Moderate hoppy nose, sweet fruit and some shampoo. Moderate bitterness, sharp and herbal. Pretty resinous with peppery finish. Lighter body. Quite warming. Not too drinkable.

Beer In A Box Advent Calendar 2024 24/25. Thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel oranje geel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van hop en hars. De smaak is vol, hoppig, harsig met een zacht zoet fruitige afdronk.

Taster at Mel's. Pours a clear, amber color, with a small, fine, off-white head. The aroma is spruce, toffee, light tobacco, and coriander. Sweet and malty, with a mellow, resinous bitterness. Medium body, slick, and a bit grainy. Solid, American style pale ale.

Heute habe ich mir ein neues Bier aus der Extinction-Reihe von Bevog gegönnt. Leider steht auf der Dose keine Info zu dem Tier mehr, weshalb man zumindest im Wiki nachschauen muss. Dieses Imperial Pale Ale ist der Nördlichen getupften Eule (Strix occidentalis caurina) 🦉 gewidmet, welche besonders in den USA sehr verbreitet war, allerdings durch Abholung 🪓 bis zu 90% des Lebensraum und damit auch Population verlor. Es ist mit seinem erhöhtem Alkoholgehalt sehr gehaltvoll, aber doch gut zu trinken. Es ist recht bitter-hopfig und leicht eingetrübt. Dazu kommen nette fruchtige Aromen, für die das Hintergrundbier aber fast schon zu stark ist. Durchaus nett, da sehr aromatisch, qber mir zu aggressiv.

Can picked up from Beyond Beer webshop Hamburg and consumed at home Thursday 19th October 2023 listening to the penultimate show of Steve Lamaqs 6Music show, he will be back in the New Year but only for 1 day a week on a Monday, it's also the last Round Table on this show tonight. We're cooking a Chicken and Serrano Ham Cannelloni tonight. This pours hazy gold with a white head, but note it's just a light haze. Good bitterness, nice malty backbone, bitterness throughout, resinous and a little piney, some sweetness, a very nice bitterness actually, drying towards the finish, nice softness in the mouth. Great beer.
