Helsingborgs Evil Red är en Red Ale som inte är så vanlig att brygga för tillfället. Gjord med fyra olika maltsorter, varav en är havremalt. Resultatet blir en härligt mjuk och rund munkänsla. Tre sorters humle. Härligt maltig i smaken.
En Red Ale där Peter visar att det går att brygga “redig” öl om man bara vill.

Bottle (from Systembolaget, beställningssortimentet). Blackish red colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, some fruity and mild toasted tones. Flavour is toasted, fruity, floral, some mild sweetness to it. Actually not that bad in the end.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an orangey amber with a slight haze and an excessive, frothy beige head with a fairly solid retention. Biscuity aroma. Medium body, again biscuity notes, a slight tartness and a fairly solid late bitterness. 141217

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2016) Ruby red colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with caramel, red fruit and toast. Malty taste with notes of caramel, toast, red fruit, orange peel and a balanced citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.
