Deze 'stout' is gebrouwen met lokale haver. Haver geeft het bier een romig 'mondgevoel' en de geroosterde mout geeft het bier een koffie-achtige smaak. Met 8% is deze 'Double Oatmeal Stout' verrassend doordrinkbaar, maar ga er vooral rustig voor zitten om van te genieten.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 13 Aug 2023) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee, black bread and toasted oats. Malty, roasted taste with notes of milky coffee, chocolate, dark bread, toasted oats and a balanced roasty bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Smooth, tasty and very well balanced stout. Very nice.

Thuis uit een flesje. Heel donkerbruin, lichtbruin schuim. Goed aroma met wat chocolade en koffie. Smaak licht caramel, licht chocolade en fijne lichte bitterheid.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een diep donkerbruin tot zwart bier met een dun beige schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige geur. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, haver, koffie en drop.
