Pendragon is a name that runs deep in Arthurian lore — the dynastic title of kings, warriors, and dragon-hearted rulers. Most famously held by Uther Pendragon, Arthur’s father, the name means “chief dragon” or “head of the dragon” in ancient Welsh, symbolising strength, sovereignty, and fire.

Our Pendragon IPA is brewed in honour of that legendary bloodline — a traditional IPA with plenty of hop character and a thirst-quenching bitterness. Pale malts meet a trio of hops, rounded bitterness and a smooth finish, creating a beer fit for leaders, legends, and lovers of the land.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Clear gold beer, big fluffy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Mild and clean malts, mild sweetness. Good grapefruit, little marmalade. Light finish. Well hopped.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016. Poured golden brown with a small white head. Aroma quite malty, some fruit. Was a bit sour. Didn’t have to throw it away but wasn’t one of the better bitters tried this year at the festival.
