Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Driftwood Bawden Rocks ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, palemalt, biscuit malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, biscuit malt, fruity malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160811] 6-3-6-3-12

Tried at the Three Horseshoes Waddington. Pale Amber colour with an off white head. Aroma fruity light citrus hops fresh and herby. Taste light bittersweet. Medium body.

Cask at GBBF ’16, day two, 10/08/16. Light golden with a decent off white head. Nose is biscuit malt, toffee, fruit tinged straw, grains. Taste comprises earthy fruit rinds, straw, bitter orange, toffee, bread. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate bitter.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2016. Poured copper colourd with a small off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, caramel malt, biscuit and some citrus. Moderate sweetness, heavier bitterness. Body fairly light, average carbonation. Finish is dry. Quite decent for a low abv bitter.

Bottle from the brewpub. Light tan. Some haze and no head but the colour is nice. The aroma is faint. The taste is fairly bland, with just a little bit of hop bitterness.
