Looks like am amber ale. dark reddish brown. almost no head. Aroma is bitter, caramel, candies, some floral notes. Not a bad mouthfeel. taste is also just okay. but bland finish and a little too sweet.

12oz bottle from Wegmans, West Seneca, NY. A golden amber pour with a scattering of cream head; caramel malt aroma; sweet earthy caramel malt taste; and thats it. A rather basic amber ale.

Bottle. Clear deep amber red color, off white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is slightly biscuity, slightly spiced toasted caramel. Decent.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Better Beer Of The Month Club. Clear amber. Aroma of malt, a bit of caramel, toast, nutty note and some citric hops. Sweetish malty flavor with caramel, toast, nuts and some hops bitterness. Medium-bodied. OK.

This amber poured a deep amber colour with a nice creamy, light tan head. Scents include malts, caramel, bread and light hops. First taste was nice and smooth with a creamy mouthfeel. Flavours of caramel malts, tea and floral hops most prodominant. Finish is malty with a lingering light tea flavour and a medium/light hop bitterness. Very good.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Aroma is rather malty with some caramel, nuts, toffee and a slight chocolate note. Quite a bit of sweet, toasted bread notes as well. Light pine and grapefruit hop character. Pours a clear, copper-red with a fairly thick, small, tan head that recedes to a thin film on top and along the edges which persists. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness with quite a bit of caramel and toasted bread malt notes. Lighter nuts and toffee flavors with faint hints of chocolate. medium light bitterness with light woodsy and grassy hop character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty standard somewhat boring Amber Ale. There is nothing wrong with it, but also not much good about it. I really wish it had a slightly more distinguishable hop note.

On tap at the Yard House, Houston. A crystal clear amber colored beer with a small, creamy light beige head. The aroma is pretty malt forward, bread and caramel mostly, with some candy like notes. The flavor has some notes of dark dried fruits, but as in the aroma it’s the caramel and bread that dominates. Although it tastes quite sweet, it’s dry on the palate, with a nice carbonation. Full body and a lasting caramel finish. Lacking quite a bit on bitterness this one, still pretty nice. 140514

The appearance is a semi-dark red colored body with a nice light carbonation seen rising, a nice one finger white foamy head that dies within a minute and leaves a spectacular nice looking amount of spider web lacing sticking to the glass.
The smell is basically deep dark caramel malts.
The taste is mainly sweet through the caramel malts with a nice sweet caramel malty aftertaste and a dry sweet finish.
On the palate, it sits about a light to medium probably ranging closer to the lighter side and comes across pretty sessionable. Carbonation is very smooth.
Overall, I say this is a pretty good amber/red ale that I would have again.

On draught. Malted caramel and slight floral aroma. Rich aroma. Clear amber with a minimal white head. Full malt flavor of caramel. Slight citrus on finish. A little harsh bitter finish.

Amber/ruby in color with foamy beige head. Malty aroma with some minor hop notes. Taste is dark malt with faint hop finish. Full bodied and delicious.
