At the source: pours dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma is chocolate and some coffee. Taste is fairly bitter for a porter. Lots of dark chocolate. Pretty robust and tasty.

GBBF Day 3. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Rich dark malts, tangy. Decent dark chocolate. Fair bit oh hop spice in this porter and unusually - tropical fruits as well. Orange peel. Light finish. Nicely hoppy, much more CDA than porter really.

Pours deep brown into an English pint. Mocha head with good retention recedes to hug rim. Chocolate and licorice aromas. Soft with silky dark chocolate upfront turning to dry charred espresso in the lasting finish.
