Draught @ The Monkey's Paw, Chicago (August 2023). Clear dark brown with copper highlights, small foamy beige head, faint caramel aroma, high carbonation, sweetish roasted malt taste with bitterness seeping in towards the end, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Nice bock.

16oz can. Amber-brown body, looks filtered. Delicious dark malt tones. Never overbearing, but a lot of character. Nutty caramel. Pleasantly balanced for the style. A touch of an old school feel. Really good.

12 ounce bottle from Binny’s River Grove, 9/26/22. New brewery! Brewery #2111, USA #1714, Illinois #79. Clear dark amber, medium tan head, fair retention. Aroma of caramel, plum, raisin. Taste is plum, caramel, raisin (prune?). Slick, full bodied. Interesting.
