Our take on a classic German Pilsner was created using corn grown on our very own farm. Saaz, Hallertau Mittelfruh and Triple Pearl hops provide a distinct German grassiness that is followed by a touch of grain, citrus and a clean finish.

Can from the brewery. A little grainy, perhaps the hops have faded some but not much of a hop bite. Sort of a US macro take on the style. Drinkable, but sort of watery body. OK.

Can. Poured a nice light golden yellow color with a small white head. Aroma was nice crispness, grassy, light grain. Biscuit, easy to drink, light floral notes. Pleasant.

Can from the brewery. Clear straw gold pour with a small head and light lace. Straw, grains, spice, dough, and corn. A little grass, some citrus zest, and light herbal notes. Drinks refreshing and clean, crisp, dry, with w lively mouthfeel. Could drink a lot of this, especially ice cold, though I’d prefer slightly less carbonation.

Sampled on draft the Victoria Gastropub this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large foamy off white head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was grassy, citric and a bit perfumey. The flavor was dryish, perfumey and grassy. Long perfumey finish. Light to medium body. Meh.

Sampled at the brewery pours a clear gold with a ring of white head. Nose is solid, lemon, malt, metal, straw, biscuit, perfume. Flavor is so solid, sweet malt, mild peanut, lemon, grass, straw. Finishes oily, slick. Very nicely done.
