Dry-hopped with Centennial during a cold fermentation, this drinkable Cold IPA is crisp and refreshing with all the pine and citrus aromas you’d expect. Cold IPAs are an emerging subset of the IPA Style out of the Pacific Northwest and not to be confused with an India Pale Lager (IPL).

My 50th Bell’s Brewery rating! 12 ounce can. Pale gold color. Puffy white head. Fragrant citrus hop aroma. Flavor is mildly dank citrus and resiny pine. Medium bodied. Crisp, dry mouthfeel. Some herbal hops on backend.

Pours lightly hazy gold. It smells of hop resin and mild citrus. The flavor is moderately bitter with some citrus and pine notes and a little caramel. It’s pretty good but for me doesn’t hold a candle to Two Hearted.

Pour is a clear amber with a large white head. Aroma is pine and woodsey hop. Flavor is more pine and bitter hop. A little dull in the flavor department. FInish is a bit bitter but a thick creamy mouthfeel. Two hearted is much better.

12oz bottle. The aroma isn't that appealing, sort of a dirty, resinous, diesel tone. Soapy pine flavor. Probably one of the biggest misses for the Cold IPA style that I've had, surprising that Bells wouldn't do it well. Not that good at all.

12 ounce bottle from Woodman’s Appleton, 3/12/22. Slightly hazy amber, medium fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of earth, pine, toasted malt, lemon. Taste is dank, lime, lemon, grapefruit. Juicy, mild to moderate bitterness. Solid.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a big, pillowy, off-white head. The nose is pine sap, light perfume, grapefruit peel, and caraway. Malty, yet surprisingly dry, with a sticky, bracing bitterness. Medium body. Quality.
