Another Anti-Waste collab was brewed with Pehkolan Mallastamo. Both of us dug up the gems buried in our storages and freezers, and and we made a totally crazy Rye IPA with the stuff!
This is old school. Rich maltiness comes with spicy rye bread notes. The nine varieties of hops make it both bitter and fruity. Most evident are resinous pine and mellow canned fruit mix flavors. Balance in this sturdy brew is on the dry side, which makes it quite quaffable for the old malt & hop oriented hippies.

Tap at Juova, Helsinki. Colour is Cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, Rye, hops and malts. Nice.

(Keg at Juova, 20241025) The beer poured blood orange coloured and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, resin, ripe fruits and mango. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, resin, spicy rye, mango, toffee, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste had pine, malts and bitterness. Tasty hoppy brew with strong malty notes.
