|
Monoliitti is a classic West Coast IPA: bright, aromatic, dry and bitter. The hops lend citrusy, floral, stone fruity and piney aromas and proper bitterness. Some wheat malt and just a pinch of caramel malts were used for balance, smooth texture and slight honey-like flavor.

Draught@SOPP Helsinki 2024. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tropical fruits, some pine, some grass, mild sweet malts. Flavour is pretty similar to the aroma, but has a vedry nice fresh and ass-whooping bitterness to it.

An orange and almost medium and blond head. Now aroma is nicely fresh, mango, papaiya, light grapefruit and mandarin. Taste has mango, grapefruit, pine, wood, nice bitterness. Medium bodied. Pretty nice.

(Keg at SOPP Helsinki 2024) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, pine, perfume and ripe fruits. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, grass, resin, ripe fruits, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A delicious and balanced hoppy brew.

Rated at SOPP - Suuret Oluet Pienet Panimot. Piney, resinous, grassy hoppy and slightly herbal with some maltiness, hints of citrus, grapefruit and lingering bitterness. Pretty good old skoolish, properly bitter west coast IPA.

Smell of sweet malt, spruce, hops. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, spruce, some grapefruit, faint malt. Lively soft carbon. Bitter, lightly sweet.
