(Can, 0.44l, from the brewery, 20240714) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had honey, herbalness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, biscuits, grass, herbalness and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty, hoppy and bitter. A decent and clean brew.

0,5 on tap at a fully packed Ala with Snegurochka. Hazy golden body with smallish clear white head that leaves plenty of lacing. Sure looks the part. Quite strong aroma of bitter hops and wet straw. Notes of yeast as well. Not entirely unpleasant, though. Flavour has less to write home about than the aroma, and this is compounded by the almost oppressive mouthfeel which is quite soapy, sticky and very dry. Irrespective of this the flavour alone has tones of citrusy bitterness and hops but not enough to overpower the images of wet hay and old erasers that it brings. To be frank this beer is okay, but reminds me more of a home brewer's early attempts at an IPA than something you would expect from a professional microbrewery. Knowing other excellent Latvian breweries like Labietis this is not up to par although it is still drinkable. Won't be returning to it, though.

Smell- weak hops. Foam - weak hops, bitter tones. Head is medieum sized, white color, maybe orange-ish tint. Appearance - simple can. Cloudy orange amber color, no carbonation/ From - dirty snifter Taste - some hops, dry, bitter tones, some pulling feel. Decent IPA, bit dry though.
