Rated at CoolHead Taproom. Malty, earthy and slightly roasty with loads of rye bready notes, caramel, toffee and prunes, hints of syrup and earthiness. Old skoolish.

0,2l on tap @ the brewery. Pours very dark copper with a medium head. Aroma is sweet toasted malts with caramel and alcohol. Flavor is sweet toasted malts, caramel, oak, hops. Good.

(Keg at CoolHead Taproom, 20240528) The beer poured dark brown and lightly hazy. Its head was small and nearly white. Aroma had vanilla, wood, sweet rye bread, vinous notes and treacle. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were toasted malts, wood, vanilla, sweet rye bread, spiciness and bitterness. Aftertaste had wood, rye notes and bitterness. Pleasant and balanced brew with barrel notes.
