(Bottle, 0.33 l, from Vínbúðin, 20230924)The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, burnt malts, vineousness and red wine. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, vineousness, red wine, vanilla, dark chocolate, cocoa powder and bitterness. Aftertaste had burnt malts, wood, alcohols and bitterness. A pleasant burnt brew with balanced barrel effects. The ABV was bit too much present at the finish.
