De color negro con espuma beige de duración breve. Aroma con notas a maltas torrefactas y regaliz; a medida que se atempera aparecen las notas a vainilla. Sabor con leve amargor, notas intensas a granos de café. Final torrefacto enmascarando muy bien el alcohol.

Jens Spansk Smagning 27/04/2023 - sweet and roasted malty with rich chocolate, coffee roast, caramel and toffee, full body, vanilla accented dark sweet roasted malty close. Good stuff.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, roasted malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and bread, leading to a bitter finish.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Kontula, 20230201) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate, vanilla and sweetness. Palate was full bodied and mildly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were vanilla, burnt malts, sweetness, ash, alcohols and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt, boozy and bitter. A brew with strong notes resembling vanilla essence. Not actually pleasant.

Keg at Stuyck and Co, Madrid, 29/10/22. Black with a big old lasting tan head. Nose is dark fruit rinds, charr, spice, roasted malts, cocoa powder. Taste comprises dark malts, spice, charr, vanilla, chocolate, dark fruit esters. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Not bad if no Wow offered.

Bottle from Beerdome. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate, licorice and heavy vanilla. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Oily and soft. 220322

Bottle shared. Black with big tan head. Massive vanilla. Some roasted malts, dark chocolate, more massive vanilla. Earthy. Deep roast. Medium sweet and solid bitter. Almost full bodied, bit dry earthy finish. Lots of rough earthy vanilla in here.
