375mL bottle, drunk 2/18/24. Bright, violet-tinged boysenberry. Clear. Vanilla adds a rich, earthy, strong character to the nose, possibly outdoing the fruit itself. Rich, sweet honey. Rich, sweet, big honey, big boisterous fruit. Like Schramms, Pips kills it in the fruit but runs on the sweeter side. The vanilla helps balance here, drying out and gives it a bit more earthy depth.

375ml bottle pours out deep purple. Nose is amazing big jammy berries rich sweet honey and loads of vanilla. Taste is as the nose great berry balance, a touch of acid and plenty honey sweetness and that vanilla wow.

375 bottle at share. Dark, dark purple pour, flat. Sweet, ruity aroma of berries, light vanilla. Taste is a sticky, full bodies jelly jar of boysenbeery with accents of vanilla cropping up in all the right places. Sumtuous, decadent, Pip's.
