Cask at North Laine, Brighton. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, toasty, treacle, toffee, cola and chocolate. The taste is toast, cocoa, earth, mild acidity, light bitterness and coffee with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough porter.
