Nice light brown bubbly-creamy longlasting head, deep dark pour. Aroma is slightly dry roasted, dark malts, old rope, alcohol, oak, burnt licorice, cough syrup, toast, sour-ish roasted grain, dark sugar, herbs, minerals, spices, tobacco. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, tobacco, burnt licorice, sour-ish roasted grain, old rope, alcohol, oak, toast, spices, tar, leather. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh boozy mouthfeel. Nice enough.

Sampled from the tap at the GTMW 2017. Pours black with a very dark brown head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma is full of dark grains and bourbon with roast and a hint of peat underlying. Flavor is full of creamy dark grains with growing bourbon and roasted malts supporting.
