On tap at Library Alehouse, pours a hazy orange amber with a small white head. Aroma reveals tart plums and cherries, with earthy hops, and a bit of perfumey, cleaner-like notes (is that just the glass?). Flavour is modestly tart, with muted stone fruits, faded earthy hops, and a touch of oak. I've never been a fan of aging IIPAs, and this is no exception. The fruit doesn't save this; the hops are just too muted and the whole thing doesn't seem cohesive.

Bottle. Pours hazy pinkish magenta with a medium pinkish white head and some lacing. Aroma is lovely; cherries prominent, some dust and unmistakable El Dorado citrus hops. Flavor is lightly tart, delicate with nice fruit and hop notes, mineral quality. Hide the 8% ABV well. Light spritzy body. Excellent beverage. This is exactly the kind of beer that got me super excited about dry-hopped sours a few years ago. Great job Phil!

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours translucent rose with a very slightly pink tinged head. Tart/sour aroma of plums and cherries. Med body or nearly. Flavor is tart/sour with lots of plums and cherries. Some slightly musty, somewhat astringent wood notes. Not mouthrendingly sour. Tasty brew.
