Bottled@PBF XII. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ashed, smoked wet wood, herbs, alcohol and some liquorice. Flavour is liquorice, some toffee and mild smoked wet wood. Some alcohol in the finish too.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Trädskogens Corylus ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, roasted, sweet malt, chocolate, alcohol. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long duration, chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. IMO: a bit simple but not bad ... so maybe I was a bit happy ! [20180707] 7-3-7-4-14

33 cl bottle purchased at Systembolaget. Pitch black with a few tanned bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with coffee, grasses, earhty notes, some tar. Taste is roasted bitter. Despite the 10.5 % abv the beer feels thin and under carbonated. Drying roasted bitter finish. Not that exciting...

Bottled at PBF XII. Black with small beige head. Aroma of chocolate and orange. Mid sweet with medium-full body and creamy, rounded mouthfeel. Milk chocolate and orange liqueur. Low bitterness in finish with some brandy heat.

33cl bottle @PBF XII. Poured pitch black with a thin brown head. Licorice, tar, chocolate in aroma. Flavor has licorice, salt, roastedness. Tarry, thick syrupy.
