We pushed the complex and citrus-heavy flavors of hops to a new level with this orange-infused IPA. Combining bright and bold hops with real orange in the fermenter creates layers of citrus-crazy flavors, yet it maintains a balance and a crisp hop bite that make it the perfect aromatic IPA.

12oz bottle. Filtered orange-yellow body. Big candy orange, artificial tones. Sort of like all the creamsicle beers but a little more of a respectable modern hop tone. I suppose it does taste like an orange IPA. Not one I would seek out. Sort of cheesy for SN.

Bottle from the mixed twelve pack from Hannaford. Brilliantly clear dark yellow in color with a bubbly white head. Big orange in the nose and in the flavor that in my opinion distracts more than enhances the character of the spicy IPA underneath. Meh!

12 ounce bottle from a sampler pack. Didn't know this was a new tick, but I'll take it. Slightly hazy and vibrant orange, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of orange, pine, pith, pale malt. Taste is orange, pine, pale malt. Medium bodied, juicy.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/22/2018. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity hops, orange peel, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel, herbal, grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, citrus peel/rind, light pepper/pine, toasted bread, light caramel, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, orange peel, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop/peel flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering hop/citrus peel bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is a delicious fruited IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity hops, orange peel, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. The Simcoe and Crystal hops complement the orange peel really well. Juicy and lightly dank hop/citrus flavors, with a nice bready malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected.

12 oz bottle from bro bro. Aroma is orangey and a bit lackluster. Pours nearly clear golden with a one finger white head that falls into a ring and skiff somewhat quick. Tastes better than it smells with a nice candy sweetness balancing out a mild bitterness with lots of orange flavor. This is really freaking tasty.

Surprisingly good orange IPA, offering a tasty mix of orange peel and citrus hops balanced by a moderate biscuit-caramel malt sweetness and a brief piney bitterness on the back end. Orange pith takes hold in the fade. Nice orange-gold pour, and the perky well-carbonated texture’s good. Solid pint.
