Cask @ Brewhouse and Kitchen, Southampton. Very dark with a very thin bubbly head. Smoked ham is evident in both aroma and taste, but is not that flavoursome.

Cask at the brewpub. Aroma has astringent smoke but watered down as if the fire brigade stepped in. Opaque red tinged brown. Fluffy foamy beige head. Smokey fruit. Pleasent but weak. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Slips down but ultimately a watered down smoked beer.
