Cask at Hampshire Oktoberfest. Aroma is malty with jammy fruit. Opaque dark marmalade orange. Thin frothy white head gets patchy. Light sour berries and citrus. Underlying sugary sweetness. A hint of woody bitterness. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Light but not overly exciting.

[Cask at the Hampshire Octoberfest, Basingstoke] A copper pour with a thin white head; sweet caramel aroma; malty body, but rather sweet; and a light English hop bitterness. A nice traditional bitter, but too sweet for my tastes.
