Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 7.5
Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma combines caramel and liquorice. Herbs. Opaque darkest cola brown. Thin frothy beige head. Initial tangy berries followed by a bitter liqourice and herbs run. Medium bodied. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long astringent finish. Was expecting a bland muddy pond water affair but this is actually interesting if not a classic.
