Taking inspiration the from COLD IPA approach, this is a delicious black IPA brewed with a lager yeast. Heavily hopped with SIMCOE, H. BLANC & CHINOOK. It’s no lager but it does have some of the clean fermentation profile you’d expect but with all the best things about BIPA.

Can split at MBCW '22 (Massive Beer Celebration Watford), from Yards & Crafts online, 13/05/22. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a good sized khaki head. Nose is dark malts, spice, light pine nip, cocoa sprinkle, dusty hops. Taste comprises mellow roast, pine needle, pine dusting, trace of red berries, toffee, charr. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close spattered with mellow hop bitterness. Ok CDA ... lacks bitterness for me.
