Overly foamy white head on a hazy pale golden coloured body. Melon, nectarine & confectionery aroma. Medium to thin bodied, foamy airy & dry with a clean back. Nectarine, melon, bitter citrus & pithy tastes with a grapefruit finish. Cleans the palate.

Keg at 33 Green Bottles, Gosport. Hazy sherbert and stone fruit aroma. Hazy gold. Thin translucent white head. Medium-heavy bitter. A decent bitter kick. Sour edge. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Punchy SIPA.

Tap at Beer Dock, Crewe Pours a murky pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. Nose is a pleasant combination of lemon and grapefruit In the mouth it is mainly oranges, but also some hints of lemon. So far, so good, but the finish really lets it down. An awful revolting mixture of bitter lemon and tonic water (both of which I hate). Not my type of beer, but not too bad – until the finish ! Would also call it an NEIPA, not a session IPA.
