Utilizing lots of organic toasted coconut, this strong stout pours with a dark tan head and drinks with a silky smooth and warming finish. The barrel ageing in rum barrels presents smooth layers of oak and warming spirits in this complex cauldron of flavours

Can bought at The Hive, Crowthorne. Aroma had sweet berries, dough and coconut. Boozy edge. Dark and glossy. Tan head starts off foamy before receding. Initial sour edged boozy salt liquorice hit. Retrained coconut. Medium bodied. Oily. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. It's fine but so full-on that I'm in no rush to finish it. The sweetness promised by the aroma is AWOL after that.
