Rustic Pils
A Pilsner style lager but with the addition of flaked Spelt from Cragg's & Co in County Durham and hopped with Cascade from Brookhouse Hops in Herefordshire. Big flavours but with a classic Pils crisp drinkability

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Lightly sweet with notes of husky grains, straw, bread crust, mild grassy bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly drying finish, more grass, dirty straw, dried pale malts. Enjoyable.

Can ordered from the brewery. Aroma is sweet and malty. A slight haze to the golden body. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. This flows through before honey sweetness shines a light. Citrus edge throughout. Malty and spelty. Light bodied. Thin but lifted by soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough.
