Out of several hundred tried-and-tested recipes, Fraser picked this as a stand-out West
Coast IPA to launch Middle Child. This beer is busy with hops in both varieties and quantity! Magnum, Centennial, Columbus, Azacca, Simcoe, Galaxy, Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin with a touch of Honey to complement the fruitiness. As with all good West Coasts, this is super fruity, citrusy and piney with a strong bitterness level.

Can ordered from Malt Miller, Swindon. Aroma has resing and citrus, with a sugary streak. Opaque dark orange. Frothy thin white head. Medium bitter. Resinous. Offset by sweet marmalade citrus. Gets more sugary. Medium bodied. Slick Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. Pleasent if not particularly bitter. Update: just spotted honey on the ingredients... which explains the sweetness!
