500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Dark brown, a little bit translucent with a small uneven film of beige head. Light aroma, some chocolate malt, hint of blackberry. There’s a creamy sweetness to the taste but it’s almost immediately challenged by a wall of intense hop bitterness. Bitterness stays on the tongue after the finish, with notes of underripe berries in the aftertaste. Low to medium carbonation. Enjoyable.

Cask at EBF Nov 2021. Aroma has Lactose and vanilla. Low key berries. Opaque very dark brown. Frothy beige head. Light-medium bitter. Charcoal. Berries provide light sourness. The lactose is AWOL. Light-medium bodied. Thin cream. Flat-average carbonation. Long dry finish. Bitter Milk Stout. It's nice enough.
