Bottle: Pours a clear amber with a small, creamy white head. Nice lacing. Nose is hoppy and fruity with light citrus. Flavor is hoppy with apple accents. Fairly mild and really doesnβt stand out.

Bottle pours a hazy deep redish amber with almost no head and only spotty lacing. Swwet woody and apple vinigar smell. Quite bitter flavor with sharp biting hops. Rather thick full body and a lot of carmel notes. Finishes wet and a bit sweet. Very little carbonation.

Draught pint at Redbones, 11/12/05. Small tan-beige head is small and moderately well-retained with a chill haze to the amber-honey-auburn body. Creates great lacing down the glass. Smells of bold citric/floral hops with a bit of sweet cream and caramel. Flavor begins bready, lightly dry and toffee-like but quickly picks up steam in the sweet caramel department and the hops are pressed in to the mix forcefully. Gets really strong all at once and then the hops climax and slowly fade, allowing for a soft landing in creamy-sweet caramel. Some sticky toffee and drying alcohol notes remain on the finish. Mouthfeel is not at all watery, while the carbonation is low. Quite a sizeable body on it as well. The rich malts are strong and supportive creating a creamy texture. Still a bit too hoppy and up-front with the richly sweet malt. They clash without allowing some finer nuances to come in to the mix.

Reddish-amber colour. Slightly grapefruity, toasty aroma with mango and kumquat notes. Sweet, clean caramalts bounce off of resinly American hops. Stylish, limey citrus and great balance...a really bold yin-yang statement here.
