Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 06. Very deep chestnut, thin disappearing off white head. Richish malt and hop aroma. Smooth and malty in mouth, bit of sourness. OK, bit dull 2.8/5 Re-rate, cask gravity at Butcher’s Arms, Herne. Badged as BSA (Butcher’s Special/Supreme Ale). Very deep chestnut colour, some white head. It’s got a kind of sourness, some blackberry fruit. Dark fruit aroma, rich malt, but agile too in mouth. Then the finish is like a porter or stout. Really rather stunning and almost un-pigeon-hole-able
