Ok, now say “Hi!” to Chaos Grid: The Penultimate Course. Climbing a ladder that leads to Pastry Stout Singularity, and this is one step away from that. Built from a blend of Beastmaster in Elias Butte 14 Year, Dragon Mask in Ethereal Mound 30 Year, Altar of the Orc Lord in Ethereal Mound, & Mega Devil’s Teeth in Elias Butte 18 Year Bourbon Barrels aged 41-47 months, we added a huge hit of Toasted & Macaroon Coconut, Dominican Cocoa Nibs, Toasted Almond Pieces, Ugandan Vanilla, & Shadow Party Dark Roast Coffee. It's pure candy bar, with huge layers of milk chocolate & Almond Joy.

Sweet and smooth with loads of pastry notes, chocolate cake, cocoa, vanilla, syrup, almonds, some barrel, oak, toffee and caramel. Pretty balanced and tasty pastry stout

22oz bottle. Pours opaque dark brown with no head. Aroma is brimming with bourbon, coconut, vanilla, and chocolate. Flavour has a ridiculous bourbon barrel character, tons of coconut, vanilla, and coffee; some almond that complements nicely. Mouthfeel is thick and fairly smooth. This is suberb, rich and complex.

22oz (thx, Matt!) @ Salesforce. Appearance: almost black with no head. Aroma: amazing and quite intense American oak, some nice sweetness, chocolate, vanilla, coconut. Taste: oily, moderately sweet, lots of chocolate and vanilla. The mouthfeel is a bit weird, it's kinda sludgy, but with nice almonds, coconut, and vanilla. Overall: very nice.

Dark brown. No head. The aroma is roasty, nutty, decent amount of coconut. Soft body, low carb, a touch oily. Coconut up front, a lot of chocolate, nutty. Very rich. Some coffee really picks up in the finish. Great sugars round out the bourbon. Almost a bit of a salty note, almond as well. There's just a lot of complexity to this. Excellent.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny head. Nose is super rich, with lots of toasted coconut and roasted almonds upfront, dark sugars, vanilla, cocoa, and big bourbon barrels. Flavour is extremely rich, with intense coffee, roasted almonds, cocoa nibs, vanilla, sweet molasse-y brown sugar, and massive bourbon barrels to round things out. The coconut, coffee and almond combine remarkably, and then the bourbon just adds another layer of elegance. Goddamn this is sublime.
