Oh, it's you. It's been a long time. How have you been? We've been really busy creating new beers. You know, for science. Like this one, a Hazy DIPA dry hopped with Galaxy, Citra, and Mosaic. Testing results in characteristics of passionfruit and peach, blended over a clean citrusy base. I'm making a note here: "Huge Success."

175mL pour at Slow Hand. Pours opaque yellow, like orange juice. Aroma has light tropical fruit. Flavour is super juicy, lots of stone fruit, a bit of hop burn on the finish. Mouthfeel is quite thick, almost gritty. Nice, juicy IPA.

Creamy, opaque, alcohol in the finish, some papaya but more hop burn, it’s okay but doesn’t really land for me.

16oz (thx, Alex!) @ 🏡 Appearance: murky dark straw with a white head. Aroma: bold, juicy, tropical fruits. Taste: juicy, a bit of hop burn, some sweetness, a bit of tropical fruitness. Overall: good one.

473mL can, pours an opaque, milky, muddled brownish yellow with a large white head -- looks very unappetizing. Aroma doesn't have any obvious chalk, just some mild dank hops, juicy stone fruits, hint of citrus. Flavour is sweet and juicy, with lots of tropical fruits -- mango, pineapple, papaya -- with very mild dankness and no other obvious hop notes. Pretty sweet -- the residual sugar content must be higher than normal for the style. No hopburn or chalk, thankfully, nor really any bitterness. Good juice bomb.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Murky pale blond colour; creamy head, that disappears quickly. Excellent aroma: tropical fruits, pungent, ripe mango, bit of smelly onion. Full bodied, with smooth mouthfeel, it's just a bit starchy, but the residual sweetness keeps it in balance; massive hopping, it's very juicy, again playing with overripe tropical fruits, banana, caramelized pineapple; minimal hopburn in the finish, just to qualify it as 'correctly bitter'. I feel it's better than a lot of the stuff I remember from the Parallel 49 days; there is some lack of cohesion, but the can is superfresh (4 days), and it may adjust in a few days. Excellent.

Poured from 473mL can. Cloudy yellow with foamy white head. Dank, citrus hops, chewy malt, feint juiciness. No hop burn, not a chalk bomb. Good.
