While we have “dropped” other fresh hops in our short existence, they have always been something a bit different. This time, we went old school and created a classic IPA and dropped fresh Chinook from Bredenhof Hop Farms. This IPA features highlights of fresh grapefruit hop flavour, with an undercurrent of dank earthy pine, complemented by a smooth clean bitterness and deep woods forest aromas.

Cloudy amber gold, creamy white head. Big citrus nose promises more than it delivers. Musty tart citrus palate.

Gold, bright, medium head. Toasty malt, light herbaceous hops. It's a decent IPA>

4oz pour at brewery. Pours clear gold with white head. Aroma has fresh pine and herbs. Flavour is quite harsh; notes of pine, herbs, mint. The harshness is a bit extreme relative to the hop expression, and the mint is a bit weird.

On tap at Container, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out some herbal hops, light pine, and grass. Flavour has a herbal, minty and bitter grassy hop character, with a crisp biscuity malt underside. The hop expression is kind of weird; I like the bitterness, but the minty, herbal character is less pleasing.

Poured from 473mL can (pkg Oct 4, 2022). Dull gold with dissipating white head. Dank earthy hops, a touch creamy and oily, mild pine. A little rough, but okay.
