7th Anniversary Beer

500mL bottle. Pours murky blonde with large foamy white head. Aroma has a ton of funky Brett, some oak, bugs. Flavour has oak, Brett funk, wet straw, crisp biscuit malts. Pretty ridiculous pilsner, but I'm enjoying it.

500mL bottle, pours a hazy bright golden with a medium white head. Aroma has the brett upfront but it definitely retains some of the spicy Saaz hoppy grassiness. Flavour is grassy and biting, with plenty of bretty character, grassiness, some spicy hops, straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Carbonation is above average due to the brett. Unusual, but I'd say this works pretty well. Good stuff.

Pale, slight haze. Medium head. There's a nice leathery brett on the nose, with good interplay with the saaz. There's a fair bit of carbonation. The bitterness is more pronounced here than on the base beer, since more of the sugars have fermented out. It's fairly dry, getting into lean, but with a touch of remaining pale malt sweetness. It also has more of that bretty character. While I get some saaz on the nose, it seems more subdued on the palate.
