Never heard of an albarino grape but holy moly the flavor is delicious, like a stone fruit forward grape, thick peach notes, crisp finish.

Pale, slight haze, thin head. Hoppy nose and big vinho verde taste. Good sweetness, light juicy acidity for balance. Bright, a good education on Portuguese wine, in beer form.

4oz pour at brewery. Pours clear blonde with small white head. Aroma has wood, bugs, musty grape skins. Flavour has a ton of white wine grapes, musty grape skins, grainy malts. Great grape-forward saison. Review from the previous night (a testament to the availability of good beer in Ballard/Fremont): 4oz pour at brewery. Flaviur has a entity tibiwjr aruibf. At least we're fromdrkd. That.

On tap at Fair Isle, pours a clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma has white wine grape skins, wild yeast, and some rough graininess. Flavour is dry, with lots of musty white wine grapes, rough grainy notes, and some wild yeast. Very grainy and musty, with a good grape character. Very good.
