Pours murky dark brown with beige head. Aroma is roasted malt. So is the flavour. Body is quite thin and watery. This is indeed a dry stout.

On tap at Train Wreck, pours a deep dark amber brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma has that dry, almost tart-like malt expression, with a hint of dry cocoa. Flavour is very watery and weak, even for a dry stout, with toasted malt and some earthiness. Watery and lifeless, though nothing exactly wrong. Pointless creation.
