500mL bottle. Pours very deep brown with small beige head. Aroma has vanilla, pepper, cocoa, cinnamon. Flavour has vanilla, gentle cocoa, cinnamon, some bourbon. The habanero results in an astringent finish. Fairly smooth mouthfeel. Not bad, but the habanero is messing up the aroma and flavour of the beer. The profile is just really weird and not really working for me.

500mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Nose brings out cocoa, banana, vanilla and a bit of spicy pepper. Flavour has... wait a minute... quite a bit of banana, with gentle habanero, and a touch of spiciness. Is this really not the banana version? It tastes like it, plus a touch of pepper. This is a head-scratcher. Really tastes like a banana-forward beer. Not really a fan. This black is not beautiful.
