It’s big and boozy at 9.5%, yet refreshingly smooth with notes of mango & guava.

Gold, dense white head. Light tropical nose. Palate of harsh alcohol heat and bitterness from that and hops.. Fruity notes killed by the alcohol

16oz (thx(?), Ryan!) @ Sales Force. Appearance: clear golden with a white head. Aroma: citruses, a bit malty. Taste: nice body, a bit boozy, citrusy. Overall: quite good.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with small white head. Aroma is pretty fruit-forward (mango), some resin. Flavour has more resin up front than the aroma, nice tropical fruit. Definitely some booziness. Not cloying, but perhaps replaced by the candied fruit flavours; not bad per se, but dominates the profile more than I'd like.

473mL can, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is bright, with lots of tropical fruits -- especially mango and guava as advertised -- with plenty of resinous hops, some sugars, and sticky orange marmalade. Flavour is quite sweet, with plenty of sweet tropical fruits, orange marmalade, some booze (more than I'd expect for 9.5%), and resinous hops. Too sweet, too much orange marmalade, but there's some nice hoppiness and clarity to it. It's good, but a bit too sweet and unbalanced.

Golden and bright. Thin head. Overripe fruit on the nose. On the palate, light and peachy. Soft malt. The fruit isn't horrible, that mango note comes through a bit, and it's not overripe. It finishes sweet, and not particularly boozy.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with small white head. Some guava, light resin, light dry booze, clean, better than expected.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Dark blond colour, almost golden, with chill haze, and compact head. Aroma of malt, mild, bready. Bready malt base, robust bitterness, hop resins, but there are two elements out of place: a quite degree of acidity, and very strong alcohol, more than most ~10% beer I had in a while. It's ok, it's a boozer, I wouldn't get there again.
