Ingredients: 50% Pilsner malt, and 50% Amber honey from mid-summer nectars. Saar hops and orange zest in the boil only. Our special yeast adapted for malts and honey.
In this Braggot the lightly kilned malt is paired with floral spring nectars and orange zest.
It is a fruity refreshing drink but with an unexpected intensity of flavours punctuated by the bitterness of hops and of the essential oils of the orange zest. It works surprisingly well both in summer and winter.

473 ml can. 5.5%. Pours a dull amber with fine suspended sediment and almost no head. Aromas of floral orange, dull honey, and toasted malts. Flavors of bitter dry orange peel, woody honey and toasted malts. Not coming together for me…

On tap at Braggot, pours a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle floral notes, soft orange peel, and fermented out honey. Flavour is soft, with plenty of floral notes, soft orange peel, and gentle honey. Very cohesive. Pretty much as good as a season braggot can be. Good stuff.

4oz pour at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with almost no head. Aroma has a light citric tone. Flavour has pale malts, light orange, and a lovely smooth honey throughout. Very pleasant to drink.
