Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Blond colour, just a bit darker than a lager, with chill haze. The aroma is nice, with a combination of piney resins and citrus peel. Good body structure, it's on the dry side, with bold bready, crusty malts; powerful bitterness, and plenty of piney resin, long finish.
The concept aligns quite well to other modern IPAs, but it may also still satisfy old school palates.
Very good.

On tap at The Magnet, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has some peachy notes upfront, with light pine, and sweet toasted biscuity malt. Flavour has moderately intense piney hops, some peachy stone fruitiness, and a lightly sweet biscuity malt base. Light lingering bitterness and gentle fruitiness. Nothing special but it's clean and competently made.

Bright, tan, thick head, piney, orangey nose, with nice biscuity malt. Soft, herbaceous, orangey.

473mL can. Pours clear gold with small foamy white head. Aroma has pine, biscuit malts, a touch dank, some tangy berry notes, dry white wine. Flavour is dank and resinous, dry white wine. Perhaps a bit too bitter. Very solid WC IPA.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear gold with white head. Mild pine and tropical hops., bland biscuit malt, everything is fairly subdued. Leaves significant room for improvement.
