(Tap) clear, bright, dark brown color with a small brown head; aroma of coffee, chocolate; smooth palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

Dark brown, with a thin head. There's quite a bit of green coffee on this one, maybe some light chocolate. Medium body, with some chocolate. There's some coffee coming in mid-palate, again it's sort of green. There's not a ton of complexity to the base.

473mL can. Pours black with beige head. Aroma is a lot of green peppers up front. Flavour has bready malts, some light coffee and green pepper; not getting much chocolate. Pretty light and subtle for a ~10% stout. It's okay, probably better if you're not sensitive to green pepper off-flavours.

16 oz. can, pours black with a tan head. Aroma has lots of cocoa, a touch of coffee, and toasted malt. Flavour is fairly clean, with gentle cocoa and coffee in good cohesion, with a soft toasted malt base. Not aggressive flavours at all and a rather light palate for a near-10% impie. But the flavours are integrated and clean. Good stuff.
