Salt Spring Island apples were co-fermented with locally foraged blackberries using native yeasts and bottle conditioned to carbonate. Crisp, light, and dry overall, but with a hint of sweetness and tartness from the berries.

Pale pink colour, and bright. Appley, with light berry. Balanced, but not actually that exciting.

Bottle pour at FHF 2024, pours a clear pale pinkish colour with a small white head. Aroma has gentle blackberries, some apple skins, and a touch of acidity. Flavour has a nice funky apple skin character, a touch of blackberry, and mustiness on the finish. Good base, which incorporates very gentle blackberry. Very good.
