A blend of hand-foraged Salt Spring Island wild seed pears, tannic perry pears, asian pears, and quince. Cold fermented using native yeast, then bottle conditioned to carbonate. Lightly sweet from the pears' residual sugars, with hints of melon, citrus, and Manuka honey.

Cloudy, tart, nice complex fruit, mild spiciness. Off-dry finish. A bit of pear character, and I don't eat enough quince to really tell.

Bottle sampled at BC Cider Fest 2024, pours a cloudy blonde, no head. Aroma is soft and muddled, with some hay, light acidity, and soft apple core. Flavour is aggressive, with lots of hay, apple core and gentle acidity. A bit too abrasive without the integration and complexity to boot. Meh.
