Barn Owl is a series of one-off, barrel-aged creations that are released sporadically throughout the year, just as soon as we deem them ripe for picking.
This batch is a spritely blend of two year old wild ales dry hopped with Noble and New Zealand varieties, and has notes of orange blossom, Sour Patch Kids and white grape skins.
It's the perfect option for those who love moderate acidity, stone fruit and funk, and a hint of oak.

Bottle pour at FHF 2024, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rough brett, some farmhouse funk, and general mustiness. Flavour is very bright, with tart stone fruits, oak, rough brett, and a touch of wild yeast. Musty, nicely tart and wild yeast. Very good.
